The Fran fade

Looking back at the Hawks season? I haven't even looked back and I'm a fan.

They were really never even in contention to do anything either. Regular season B1G title was never close, were controlled in the loss in the B1G tourney, and then Oregon ran circles around them and could have made it worse.

Only looks worse when they're so thin skinned during games and act out like they deserve better.

Those guys played in Ames this season. Hawks defense was not good in my opinion. They were far from even being the worst in the state at defense tho . I'm sure you already knew that.

Again, we fired our head coach lol. We're well aware how bad our team was. Just because the team you root for sucks, doesn't mean you're not allowed to criticize / critique other teams.

We were awful. Please point out where I said we had any good or decent defenders. You trolls were saying Murray was a good defender and a rim protector. Don’t try to deflect your statement into me.

Fran is not a good defensive coach and probably never will be. We know this.

Yeah Iowa's not going to be good at defense under Fran. I think the thing I'd be worried about is offense. There are some HUGE holes to fill next year and we're honestly all just going to have to see how / if it can be done. Next year will 100% be a rebuilding year of some sort in Iowa City.

I think something like 15-14 or 16-15 would be exceeding expectations for next year’s roster.

Yeah probably.. It all depends on how good the Big 10 is next year you know? If it's solid from top to bottom again, it could be tough for Iowa to get to .500. Who knows though! I'd probably agree with you in saying that around .500 is probably realistic.
