Reports out of the Vikings camp are that Ferrotte has a lower back fracture and will miss at least 2 weeks. The Vikings playoff hopes are back in Tjack's hands.

Word is no decision on the Williams Wall until at least Friday. This should help the Vikings cause as it means that the Saints potential suspended players should be available Thurs against the Bears.

Darn. Dante Culpepper as the backup is not an oiption. He is making hay at the Lions. Looks like Tav is the One.

Poor Old Ferret:

Ha ha.......8 men in the box for Adrian Peterson! (sorry, my brother in law has him in our fantasy league, and I find that very funny)

Who was the QB last year when Peterson nearly won the rushing title, despite missing two full games? I don't think either QB makes any of their awful receiving corps any better. And I don't think either makes AP's stats any worse...

Not sure why everyone thinks Jackson is such a drop off from Frerotte. Frerotte has had a couple average games, several bad ones, and a couple REALLY bad games. Some people talk like he's the reason the Vikes are 8-5.
