The Fran fade

Where does this rate on the list of excuses? Jbo and Connor both had/have torn labrums? Guess that will happen when you get the ball stolen and suddenly have to switch directions in a split second. Moral to the story, they are just too slow.

It’s very low. My daughter played four years on two torn hip labrums. They are annoying and painful but you can still play at a pretty high level. Green from UNI was playing with a torn labrum for a month averaging 20 a game.

I would have thought you would have to look at film reels and a projector.

I think Connor and JBo had something else torn after getting Ducked so hard.

Selection committee did a bad bad job this year. I know Covid didn't do them any favors but wooof. They all need to be replaced.
It’s all Jamie Pollard’s fault. He deliberately put the hoks in the same region as Oregon knowing damn well they would eventually play each other. And of course he stays up late watching PAC 12 games, so it was a no-brainer.

We make fun of Randy, but the Hawk media is on another level. Hlas is the only one that isn't outright cheering for them.
Our excuse for losing to UAB was that our players dyed their hair.

Iowa fans excuse for getting boat raced by Oregon was:
1. Oregon was a good team and it’s not fair Iowa had to play a good team.
2. Oregon had fresh legs.

Don’t forget the injuries to CJ and CMAC. That was just mentioned during Frans post game presser.

Wonder why Iowa played their starters so long against GCU? Probably so Iowa media could mention this as an excuse.

On his twitter profile, he pinned a tweet saying he was rejected for 127 jobs. After seeing this tweet, I can understand why a little bit more.
Wow, that's a weird thing to share with the whole world. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want anyone to know if I had been rejected for 127 jobs.

The audio clip accompanying that tweet is really awkward as well. He wants to be the reason players stay up late? What?

Garza and JW didn't seem gassed at all. They were the best player and probably a top 5-6 player in the game.

What a coincidence the two players that have extraordinary Big Ten/NCAA level skills didn't seem to have unfresh legs but players starting 4 years out of nepotism without that talent seemed unfresh.

It's almost like having a team that is deep in talent can mean something vs a team where a player starts just start because they are the coach's kid. This is not a situation like Boeheim or McDermott's kid.
