Not too different from Iowa State going into the infamous UAB game. They had just finished that stretch of like 5-6 games in a row coming back from a double digit deficit, won the Big 12 tournament, then came into the opening round way over confident. It happens.

Have to disagree. ISU loss to UAB because they were flat. Not an excuse, there was no excuse for that game.

Iowa lost to Oregon because McCaffrey plays his guards based on emotion and not game situation. Iowa played today just as they always do and I would always expect them to lose to a team with good guards.

I blame myself as a fan. I partied the night away Saturday night after Iowa won the national title, lee won another title and we got past GC in the first round. I wasn’t as focused as I needed to be.

He's made 2 FG's in the last 8 games.
