The Fran fade

EIU is a quality team, as an ISU fan, I can admit that. Mad Fran figured out the most important thing to win at a P5 level that Prohm never did, which is at this level you have to recruit and play inside out. Prohm was great at bringing in high quality guards, which is what it takes to win in lesser leagues. But without a big or two that can hold there own, you are not going to win in a power conference.
Watching the tournament, I see team after team with a 7 foot guy at center that can defend and rebound. Hell Grand Canyon had a couple of them today. If I can see that, how in the hell could Prohm not see it. Trying to play power forwards at center does not work against the teams ISU is playing.

As I said before, EIU will go as far as long as they are hitting their 3s will allow or until they meet up with Gonzaga? But anything less than an Elite 8 appearance is a disappointment.

The breaks keep coming for Iowa. A rusty team playing at 9am their time. Congrats on the Sweet 16 Iowa fans

Lining up your next ******** already I see. IoWa HaD tHe EaSiEsT pAtH

Your last sweet 16 you beat 13 Iona and 12 Little Rock to get there and haven't stop bragging since, but playing Oregon at 9am is too easy?

Embarrassing take.

Also great showing from Texas last night. Shaka had them top 3 in the Big 12? How???

Iowa State was making the Sweet 16 that year no matter what. Not our fault Chris Beard beat Purdue

Yes catching a rusty Oregon team at 9am their time is a huge break, even you will admit that

Nobody does less with more than Shaka. Horns down baby!

Iowa wins: VCU would have beat them. Oregon was rusty and not used to the gym. 9am start time
Iowa loses: Oregon was well rested. Iowa had to play on 1.5 days rest. Pac 12 is underseeded.

VCU would have been a more challenging matchup for Iowa IMO. I think many said that from the get go. You can't deny catching a rusty team at 9am isn't a break for Iowa. It's not like Iowa did anything wrong or can control it
