Eli chooses, Fran loses

I have to disagree with you here. Garza is so much more valuable to his team and he has better stats.

Better stats sure. But Ayo isn't too far off and actually plays defense. I know who I'd rather have if I were building a team, and it wouldn't be Luka.

To be fair on the THT thing, he's younger than the Murray twins. I don't think that was really a Prohm issue.
What is up with Iowa and old players? Isn't P-Mac a 21 year old FR too? Nunge on pace to play his last game by the time he's 26. What on earth?

I'm not going to rail on Patrick because I don't know what the cancer did to him school wise but THT was just really, really young.
Can you imagine being able to wear an NBA championship ring and still are a year and a half away from a legal beer?

That would be wild, no doubt.

THT wasn't an efficient scorer in his one season. He shot 40% overall, 31% from three and 62% from the line. He is a heck of a talent, but I wasn't impressed with his one year at ISU.
He outperformed Ayo freshmen year, but of course they’d rather have 3 years of Ayo, but THT is a better player.

I'd be willing to bet he'll have a better NBA career than Ayo. Ayo is similar to some of those guys from the Hoiberg era in that they came in clearly skilled and talented, but not good enough to be one and done or even two and done guys. Hindsight being what it is, would I have rather had Ayo at ISU than THT? Of course, he's the type of player you win with at the college level. Unfortunately Talen, even though he was a one and done, didn't have that take-over-a-game ability as a 17 year old FR that you can win with at the college level. But few do. Even the great Zion Williamson Duke team didn't make a FInal 4, and he was heralded at the time as the next coming of LeBron

Garza needs to learn some soccer moves (feet) and be able to bring the ball up the court ( like Jokic)

He really needs to study Jokic this off-season. That’s a guy he can compare to in the NBA, though I doubt he will ever be nearly as good as The Joker. Jokic has great passing ability for a big man, and while not super athletic, he still is more athletic than Luka. Luka won’t probably be very much of anything in the pros, but he’s been a damn great college player.
