2021 Stock Market

Or it could be because interest rates are rising and since the majority of these projects are green-lit based on long term paybacks (e.g. >10 years) that would have an impact on the profitability/payback of these projects...
Interest rates won’t go anywhere significant (up wise) any time soon.

I'm didn't double down like DFV did but I did throw a couple hundred bucks at some more shares when it was in the 50s to lower my average. I am back to profits on GME baby. I should sell but I'm diamond hands forever

Target price: $42,069

Not a financial advisor. I just like the stock

I am flirting with doubling my money at the moment. Averaged down a bunch at 40 and even averaged up slightly yesterday.

I continue to buy options for REIT’s like AHT, MITT, and IVR. I’m of the opinion when Q2 earnings roll out folks will see that hotels are gaining momentum and mortgages are coming out of forbearance- hoping to see them explode in late 2021.

So there hasn't been any news/movement worth noting in the bond market the last few weeks? Bond yield is essentially the "interest rate" on those bonds and bonds are how companies issue LT-debt to pay for these capital intense projects, no?

It is, but here is a chart of the the 10-year treasury. We are still at historial lows and I really don’t foresee this changing anytime soon. It go up a few basis point every now and then, but I just don’t see it reverting back to the mean in the coming years.

Why options and not actual stock? *just trying to learn more about investing*
I own a couple hundred shares in IVR and sell call options against it while I wait for it to run. Good way to make a little money while waiting for the interest rate to come back for them.
