Steve did win the Big12 Conference tournament championship though, so congrats on that.

LOL, I could have coached Fred's players to a sweet 16. Giving Prohm credit for that is just dumb, he has shown over the last 4 years what he can do with his own players.

Fran could do better fielding a team of just McCaffery's. Fran, Marge, Connor, Patrick and Jack would wax this years ISU team.
He won the Big 12 Title with his own guys. Fran couldn't dream of doing that in a major conference
Honestly who gives a rats ass about a conference tournament title. If a 10-10 Wisconsin team wins the Big10 tournament you think that is better than OSU, Purdy, Iowa, Illinois or Michigan and the year they had securing a higher seed in the NCAA?

You do realize that football and basketball are different sports, right? There is no such thing as a Regular Season Conference champion in football, but there is a Regular Season Conference champion of every single basketball conference.
