I was perfectly fine with adding Nebraska for a 12 team conference. ND has said no to the Big 10 forever. They don't want to be in the Big 10. It was a big mistake to add Rutgers and Maryland.

Yet they’re above Wisconsin and Iowa, both of whom have been way better than Illinois the last 10 years.
Yeah, but they are garbage. They aren’t far from being Kansas level bad. They’re just another cupcake win for Iowa, like a lot of the teams in the big 10 west.
