Did you hear the questions that Randy Peterson was asking Coach Prohm about whether he had spoken with AD Pollard within a week and a half? And what was said during those conversations? Just a real jerk approach about it I’m sorry. And then he had no other questions for Coach Prohm. I’m an really amazed Coach Prohm kept calm and didn’t reply to the stupid question with a stupid answer.

Listen, I’m frustrated with the overall team and the direction it is going and has gone. But I really don’t think by firing Coach Prohm this season that there would be any better out there during this pandemic. You just are not going to see many dismissals at head coach after this season. You think there is going to be Mark Few’s just waiting in the wings for us?? Get a grip people!

So you think Prohm should get another year?

There were plenty of coaching moves made in football with teams hiring up and coming coaches or previously successful coaches, what makes you think basketball is any different?

The smart move is to fire Prohm and bring in new blood for next season. To an extent, it really wouldn't matter too much in regards to the "who" in order to bring optimism back and putting butts in the seats. Season ticket sales will plummet if he comes back and that's not what the AD needs right now.

Randy is deplorable, but this is just Prohm being his non-confrontational self. While that personality type isn't ideal for a P6 coaching gig, I do prefer it to mt. vesuvius coaching on the eastern side of the state. Can you imagine Fran being questioned like that?

You have to think those questions happen when a coach is on the hot seat, but these types of questions usually aren’t productive. Makes the reporter look like an *******, makes the coach look bad when he can’t answer or give a direct response.

Everyone knows what the likely conclusion is with SP. Just have to let it run its course at this point.

Methinks the OP might be trying to get some attention here with his advocacy for Prohm.

I was (and in certain contexts still am) one of the bigger Prohm defenders on here, but I'm more excited for the likely coaching change than I am for anything actually happening on the court.

Whatever one thinks of Randy Peterson, it's his job to ask these questions in this situation. Pollard isn't responding to his calls for obvious reasons, and as the head coach it's Prohm's job to answer (or deflect) those questions in the midst of a disastrous season.

It may be uncomfortable to watch and seem unnecessary, but it's 100% fair game and nobody would think twice if it were the coach of another team facing this kind of scrutiny.

And that kind of question seems to imply that JP and CSP have a gap in their relationship when they could have a very good relationship but it can still end with parting ways.

I play a game in the car when I'm bored.
I turn on the "Cyclone Insider" podcast and when ever a new topic or question is asked, I pause the show and think about my answer/opinion.
Then, I play the show and listen for Randy's take.
If his take is the polar opposite of mine, I give myself a point.
I keep score of how many points I have to total number of takes.

I get a perfect score probably every other time.
