The Fran fade

According to NCAA stats, MacCaffrey is 3.7/1 assist/to and Rasir is 3.83/3.2. Full disclosure; I got a B in stats.
Connor and Bohannon are both in the top 15 in the country for assists/turnovers. Pretty impressive to have 2 guys ranked that high.

The eye test tells me Bolton shot an airball on a wide open 3 and Conditt just airballed a wide open 15 footer. You keep on worrying about 2 starters from the #1 offense in the country.

It's crazy that you're watching ISU basketball..... I don't even watch that anymore. Your obsession with ISU is off the charts.

Offense usually is not a problem for Iowa. This group of players isn't great on the defensive end.

IMO, that will be the postseason key. If Iowa can play even average defense they can go a long ways.

But, again, defense is rarely talked about by Iowa fans in basketball but almost always talked about in football.

Watched them vs St Mary's the other night. St. Mary's has given them fits over the years and the Zags just manhandled them.
Both schools are lucky to have such loyal staffs too.
Agreed. I hope Iowa can end up around the 3rd or 4th overall 2 or 3 seed. I want to avoid Gonzaga and Baylor at all costs.

I honestly think you match up better with Gonzaga. Really good players. But Baylor? That's a long athletic, pounding team. In your face, handsy, can be up all over the place.

I think that game against Gonzaga would have been much closer had Iowa not played like **** until the final 5ish minutes. Not saying Iowa wins, but I wouldn’t have ruled out the possibility.
