The Fran fade

He provides a good defensive element. Iowa needs that.

I can see his upside. I've just always scratched my head at Connor being an all time program minutes leader at some point. I mean really?

Fran is lucky he had a few studs these years or fans would not be happy

I agree. I think Connor has potential. It just sucks he has never unlocked it. We all got a glimpse of what he is able to do against MSU, but it just seems he’s never gonna stay consistent with those types of performances.

Should have elaborated, my favorite defensive lineup is what I stated. The best lineup is Joe T, Weezy, Keegan, Nunge, Garza.
Fran doesn't trust Joe T enough as a facilitator to run that lineup consistently. And i still dont know how i feel about Nunge. I feel like there is something there, but he has no touch at all in the post. The ball leaves his hand like its a pool ball and he's wearing satin gloves. He does block shots and is a better defender than Garza, but not a great rebounder.

I disagree on the rebounding part. That I feel is a strength of his game. He does need to develop some better touch around the rim. That is definitely a weak spot to his game.

I feel like if its in his area, he does well. But he doesn't battle and fight for position to get the ones that shouldn't be his. Like Reggie Evans did. And im not expecting that, but a little more of that. Keegan does that.

He’s pretty crafty in the lane. Put on a bunch of weight from last year to this year, and hopefully it’s next same for next year. I think he’ll end up being pretty good. There’s a third one that’s supposed to be the best.
What? That's not a very high bar.

Which was dumb considering he was a turnover machine last night
I'm glad you're finally able to agree that Bolton is a turnover machine. He AVERAGES more turnovers per game than Connor had in his worst game. What finally made you come to your senses?

Connors turnover percentage is higher than Boltons
