It's good that he knows to not be a high volume shooter, the idea that they wouldn't be better with a real Big Ten level player as a starting point guard is absurd.

I like you but I think you've brainwashed yourself into not realizing the kid was going to play a ton no matter how bad he sucked and regardless of how the team does.

I'd love to see what would happen if JoeT knew going into a game he was going to play 25 mins. Lately, I think he gets in and tries to do too much to quickly and it hurts his play. He's trying to make a difference knowing he might only get 5 mins. I think the ability to be a solid pg is there, but he hasn't really deserved more mins based on his play the last 10 games or so. He might calm down and play more under control if he knew he wasn't going to get yanked the first time he makes a mistake. He'll get that opportunity next year if he sticks around.

Clearly you don't know he is capable of playing less because he plays at different times.

You're confusing "less" with not his normal minutes. His normal minutes would have had him playing more in the 2nd half and less in the 1st half. Weiskamp picked up 2 fouls in the 1st half which made Fran put Connor back in. And they like Connor in down the stretch with a large lead to help handle the ball.

Connor did not have a good game and didn't play as much as he normally does. Bohannon played a good floor game just didn't shoot well.
