The Fran fade

He didn't take a bad shot. He took a long 3 before half and he shot a 30 footer with 15 secs left in the game up 15 points as the shot clock was about to expire.

I wouldn't say that. He took two bad shots. One was a pullup from 30 feet trying to get a two for one that was way too early for that. The other one was a stepback long two that he airballed. Other than that, he took good shots.

Connor player 24 minutes last night and is averaging 22.8 on the year. You would call someone a moron with that take.
He didn't play a good chunk of either half where he normally does. He made up his mins late in 2nd half trying to run clock and handle the press. Doesnt it show that in the box score?

You said MINUTES. I gave you his MINUTES.
Again, that's when you'd call someone a moron.

JFC, you're insufferable.

We gave up about 50 combined less points to the same teams from first go around i don't know how you can't at least acknowledge the defense has improved. I'm not even saying we're good defensively I'm just saying we've improved which was the question
I think it certainly could've improved I just think there's a bit of a coincidence that Iowa's defense has looked good for 4 straight games against teams that don't have great offenses.

Outside of Wisconsin last night, the 3 other opponents shot terribly against Iowa from beyond the arc. Indiana was 26%, Rutgers was 21% and MSU was 29%. Did Iowa have an affect on that? Probably some. Maybe they caught some poor offensive teams on off nights as well? Probably. Also, Wisconsin shot 22% from two last night which is awful.

So I think it's a combination of playing bad offensive teams, which is a recipe for success when trying to improve on that end of the floor.
