Wow man, you are really going out on a limb here. ISU's class can't possibly be worse than #59 again next year (worst class CMC has had at ISU), and Iowa's will be worse than their best class in the last 15+ years. You are basically just saying things will revert back to where they have been at typically.
I will go out on a limb here myself. I'm banking that you and all the other ISU posters here will claim that if Iowa goes back to it's traditional #35-#45 ranking you will claim that is all because of last year, and not because that is traditional where they finish the rankings at.
Tight End?Missed out on a RB that’s for sure. A DB would’ve been nice but other than that this class was really good.
Got a couple walk-ons. Correct me if I’m wrong but the only guys they really had a chance on were Fidone (Nebby) and Helm (Tex). wasn’t much traction there.Tight End?
Carnie was a big target, another loss to Nebby.Got a couple walk-ons. Correct me if I’m wrong but the only guys they really had a chance on were Fidone (Nebby) and Helm (Tex). wasn’t much traction there.

That's damn near perfect. Oh wait.Iowa offered 10 tight ends and missed on all of them

Yet they still had their best class since 2005. Searching for anything to discredit how good it was. That's damn near perfect. Oh wait.
They could have done way better. The AA athlete discrimination and the racist culture inside of the program affected them big time.Yet they still had their best class since 2005. Searching for anything to discredit how good it was.

I think Iowa State’s ranking will rise because of their success on the field, Campbell signing an extension for years to come, and their track record of developing talent. If he can develop these mid 3 star recruits into nfl caliber talent, than why not come hear as a high 3 star or 4 star player? We’re seeing this happen already in the 2022 class. I think Iowa definitely drops in rankings for 3 reasons, the same type of class most likely can’t be repeated, the future of Kirk Ferentz is in question, and the biggest one is AA discrimination. How can you not say their racist culture will affect recruiting? You are clueless and delusional to think otherwise.

I won't. I think Iowa's performance, recruiting and on the field will stay as consistent as hell. 8.5 wins and 2nd place in B1G West. I don't think I have waivered from that view?
I too think Iowa will likely stay right where they have been since 2013. Winning on average 9 games (70% of their games).
I think ISU over the next 5 years will do right about what CMC has done over the last 5 years as well. They should win about 7/8 games a year on average (55%-60%) of their games.
I don't see either team really jumping extremely past their last 5 years history over the next 5 years.
You are wrong. ISU will get a class in the 40's, like CMC has typically done at ISU (43, 46, 46) the previous 3 years. Maybe they outperform that by a bit and jump into the high 30's.
So you think Iowa drops in the rankings to the high 40's/low 50's then? They traditionally are around #40 or so (35, 41, 39, 41) previous 4 years. Having a blip year like '21 and getting to #23 isn't going to happen for Iowa regularly, they will go right back to #35-#45 just like I said they would. That isn't anything earth shattering here, you get that right?
Oladokun decommitted because of racismLOL on this list. Oladokun tried to get back into the fold late, Iowa siad no. The rest were never coming to Iowa (except Parks, that one was a surprise for sure). Those were all late, late offers. You did make me laugh a lot though.
Someone put a CB to Iowa on all these guys? If so, that is exactly why I don't uses Iowa's 24/7 team, they aren't good if they put a CB to Iowa with all these guys.
I will take the over on your ISU prediction. ISU will average at least as many wins as Iowa over the next 5 years and do it with recruiting classes 20 spots below Iowa, with a tougher schedule.
I understand your schedule plays a factor into this confidence but that's very optimistic by youISU will not win more games over the next 5 years, even getting a head start in '22, as they will win more next year than Iowa will.
