The Fran fade

TCU is 5 spots behind Michigan State in the NET but Michigan State is a tough game and TCU is a gimme?
I'm not saying Tcu is a gimme. I do think most conferences have 2 to 4 teams that you can likely chalk as wins. Big 12 only has 2 imo and i acknowledge they're a strong conference. I think Pac has about 4 as does the Acc.

Interesting.

I see hokdom is in the bargaining stage of grief now. Negotiating, mostly with themselves, to make Iowa sound like a contender for a tourney run.

The truth remains.

Iowa and Fran have done nothing to indicate they will make it past the round of 32. Sure, they could pull it all together and link up some games to get to Final 4. Probably 20 other teams can say the same thing. But have ever seen Fran do this? Ever? Anywhere? Any Tournament? Nothing's change but please, keep convincing yourself otherwise.

So that says what? They might as well pack in the season? Indiana is a good team and won one of games on last second shot, but you know that. I would pick Iowa over Indiana 10/10 times, but sh&t happens. Other than Nebraska there are no easy games in the B10 this year. Minnesota is an excellent team and somehow are 6-8 in the league.

Bohannon also keeps a pair of Wisconsin shorts from his childhood, when he attended summer basketball camps at the Kohl Center. They still fit. He wears them from time to time. Bohannon also knows every word of the school’s alma mater.

Bohannon’s history includes being overlooked by most colleges, despite being Mr. Basketball in Iowa for 2016. South Dakota State and Lehigh were his only two offers, until the Hawkeyes came in late.

“I don’t think I got the national recognition I deserved in high school. I think I deserved a lot more offers when I came out of high school, and I took that to heart,” Bohannon said.

Not hearing from Wisconsin stung. It evidently still does.
