Agreed but he’s never had a team like this. You have to give Iowa credit that they’re a good team. If they’re shoot really well like they have in some games, a sweet 16 appearance is definitely not out of the picture.

I’ll take Iowa vs Gonzaga Iowa, please. If they shoot like that only a handful of teams can beat them. Iowa’s already poor defense was straight up no match for that explosive of an offense.

Well you’re right, I got a bachelor’s in finance, a minor in sugma, then went on to grad school and got my master’s in finance.

Maybe over simplifying it a bit but it pretty much comes down to shooting for them. There are no screws to tighten down on defense. Wins and losses for them will depend on whether the shooters are hitting outside shots and hitting them at the right time. In most of their losses they just haven't hit big shots when needed. The offense (Luka) almost always enables them to get good looks. They simply need to hit them.

I agree with Twins in that it's the defense. With Garza even when we aren't hitting from outside we will likely still get 70 points. 70 wins a lot of games in college basketball. When we give up 80 some points or more you're just playing with fire. If we can hold teams to around 74 points i think we will be a very tough out. We really just need to be average defensively.

I think expect 1 of those to be a stinker.. Lose all three and get blown out in 1 is a different story
