Just wait until they end up an 8 seed after getting spanked by Wisconsin twice and losing to OSU and Michigan. Hell they might not win more than 1 game the rest of the year. Get your popcorn, The meltdown will be epic.
Hey 2076, I don’t think Iowa will actually end up losing to Wisconsin. They match up very well with them, and the Iowa defense has improved as of the last 2 games. Regardless, it will be a fun game to watch.
That's a product of who they played. Rutgers is a defensive team and Michigan State sucks

Wisconsin always beats Iowa because they are better coached. Fran got lucky with Garza and has a couple of lifelong hok fans that can shoot. Doesn't mean he can actually coach. He might be the worst in the little 10.
Hey 2076, If I remember correctly, Iowa won the game last year in comeback fashion. And I don’t believe it is luck that he has brought such a team together, though it seems you disagree. Fran isn’t the worst coach in the Big 10 in my opinion, that belongs to Fred Hoiberg. As for the Little 10 comment, do you not believe the Big 10 is a good basketball conference? Because many analysts out there are talking about how it is indeed the best in the country.
Hey mj4cy, Fran brought in guys such as Aaron White, Garza, Jack Nunge, CJ Frederick, Tyler Cook, Ahron Ulis, Tony Perkins, and Joe Toussaint to name a few.
Yeah, Fred might be the HC of the current worst team in the Big 10, however he's not the worst coach in that conference and he's CERTAINLY better than Fran McCaffery as a coach.
Right now you don't know how Ulis and Perkins will pan out, Nunge and CJ can play, and Joe?
no not really, and if he has he limits their minutes so his kids can play more. Fran got lucky he took a big oaf who just happened to work really hard to be better than anyone (including Fran) ever expected. I almost feel bad for Garza. He worked so hard, and he'll never even make a Sweet 16. Should be a lesson to anyone else ever considering playing for Fran.
