Other than Vandenberg in 2012 year, Iowa had quality QB play for a little over a decade. They’ll find somebody.
I don’t know about “extremely”. Leaves the pocket too often, throws off his back foot at times, and is pretty undersized. 5th rounder at best. I would guess 6th or 7th.
You think your QB play was good this most recent year and will be good this upcoming year?
Dude was just named first team All Conference agead is Spencer Rattler and was a NY6 bowl MVP. He is incredibly talented and has elite pocket presence. Don't be silly
Stanley was a good QB, definitely not great. Won a lot of games but really frustrating at times. If we had a guy like Stanley this past year, Iowa goes undefeated
Rattler wasn’t very his first 5 or so games as it was his first year starting. I’m sure Rattler will be first team this year over Purdy.
Hoping for a grad transfer, but I would agree that it doesn’t look to bright as of now.
You guys aren’t beating Northwestern with Stanley and yes I think most below-average qbs can win against a pathetic schedule with decent skill position players and a pretty good defense.

How can a program that routinely has top 30 recruiting classes not have a decent QB in the QB room somewhere? I mean ISU, a program that struggles to have Top 50 recruiting classes has them 3 deep.
