Somebody find the post where I said I thought Kirk should have been fired. I think those issues have been resolved according to the players and the way parents talk about KF and the program. As a result, I support Kirk and the Iowa football program.

I have said it once and I will say it again: I thought Kirk should have been fired. I do not believe these issues still exist, but if more allegations come out, he will 100% be fired and rightfully so. If the lawsuit against Kirk finds him guilty he needs to be fired. He himself asked players and coaches if he should step down and they said no. I think Kirk was an ignorant old man and didn’t realize that he was being racially insensitive, which is a much different thing than being racist. As long as positive steps are being made in the program I will support him.

This is lazy and a willful embrace of racism.
