Why can't it be both? Luka is absolutely not putting up the numbers he is, without Fran's system. I'm sure he could do it a few other places, but not many. Fran gets some credit for that. Frank obviously paid for Luka to get the offseason work that he did. Frank should be credited with more of the individual skill development.

Why do you have to go to the NBA to improve? Aaron White went from barely recruited to a very good college player who is still playing professional in Europe. Marble, Clemmons, Tyler Cook, Jok Kriener, Olaseni....these are all guys still playing professionally somewhere.
Bolton isn't needed at Iowa. Connor isn't needed at Iowa State. If either of them were on those two rosters, Bolton would get more playing time at Iowa than Connor would at Iowa State.

Listen, there are D3 players who sign contracts to teams in Europe. There are soooo many leagues over there. Daniel Edozie for Iowa State plays in a league in Europe.
