The Fran fade

When Iowa has their full, healthy team, Connor fills a much needed role. Give the ball to the guys that score in good position to score. That's it.
Bolton is a better passer than Connor so that doesn't even make sense. Bolton has a higher assist percentage and an equal turnover percentage

I honestly think he believes Connor is better than Bolton
In basketball, I value quality offensive possessions. Iowa plays fast paced and still turns it over less than 10 times per game. Why would you want to add a guy like Bolton who turns it over more than twice as much as any player in Iowa's starting lineup? Last year, even with Haliburton there part of the year, Bolton turned it over far more than any Iowa player this year. If he made up for it on defense by being an exceptional defender, maybe I could deal with it, but he's not an exceptional defender at all.

You also said the team with KenPom's #1 offense has 2 "terrible" starters and a "terrible" coach.

What part of Connor and Bolton having equal turnover percentages do you not understand?

Dude no just no. You're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

If Iowa plays at such a fast pace, then why can't they get back on defense? If they play a fast pace on offense, what prohibits them getting back on defense? Asking for a friend.

I would also bet you Bolton turns it over less with a better team around him. Lots of his passes get dropped....Iowa's veteran players and Garza wouldn't be doing that.

If Bolton played at Iowa's pace he would turn it over like 5 times per game. Yikes.
Connor averages 3 ppg and you want to die on the cliff that he's incredibly important to Iowa, yet has been benched the past few games due to his incompetence. Yikes.

Who says they don't get back on defense? They give up an occasional fast break bucket, but it doesn't happen all that often. Now getting back and defending for 30 secs is another thing.

Foul trouble as well. Having Fredrick out limits the effectiveness of having a guy like Connor on the floor. When you have 4 efficient scorers on the floor, your 5th doesn't have to score.

This season, Connor has played in 19 games. He's scored over 7 points one time. He's had 11 points once. He's had 3 points or less 13!!!!! times.

Doesn't have to score is different than not having the ability to score and being a liability offensively. You can't tell me you like watching him on offense outside his brilliant post entry passes. I truly believe you're trolling us.
