The Fran fade

What’s the worthlessness proficiency number Connor? I’m guessing it’s north of 8 billion.
He shoots poorly but he doesn't shoot often. He values possessions and gets it to the guys that do score efficiently. Bolton is out of control and makes poor decisions. Maybe that would change if he had other options around him, but he wasn't any better last year when they did have other options.

Connor f'n sucks dude lol. You can say it. Fran won't yell at you.

What's the fascination with Connor and some of you Iowa fans on here? The guy flat out stinks at literally everything outside of not turning the ball over very often. Everything else he's either below average or mediocre at.
He literally does everything as well or better than Bolton except for drive to the basket. The analytics support that.

For his entire career, he literally does everything worse than Bolton other than passing and turnovers. Statistics support that.

You've already made it clear you have no idea how important efficiency is in basketball. I want the guy on the floor that makes passing to Garza the #1 option every time he has the ball.

Bolton = 3.1 turnovers per game
Bohannon + Fredrick + Connor = 2.4 turnovers per game

Iowa's 3 main ball handlers average less combined turnovers than Bolton.
Rasir Bolton is good at basketball. Connor McCaffrey is bad at basketball. It's really that simple

What statistics? That's why advanced analytics are important. Of course the guy shooting the ball 13 times per game is going to average more ppg than the guy shooting it 4 times per game. What other statistics support what you are saying?

Connors assist percentage this year - 24.5%

Boltons assist percentage this year - 27.1%

Both have a turnover percentage of 17.5%

Mic drop

Advanced analytics used to be your "go to". I guess not in this case.
Let's go line by line on advanced statistics and see who's better

All shooting - Bolton
Rebounding - Bolton
Assists - Bolton
Steals - Bolton
Block - Bolton
Turnover - Equal
Win shares = Bolton

If I was Gitwit I'd just stick to the beatdown they gave us the last two years and hope they figure out how to get someone to step up besides Garza.

Bolton has a better OWS and the same DWS. He plays more minutes on a ****** team. Doesn't change the fact that he turns it over more times on his own than 3 of Iowa's starters combined. He averages more than twice as many turnovers per game than ANY of Iowa's starters.

He literally has the same turnover percentage as Connor and a higher assist percentage. What are you talking about?
