The Fran fade

Is he still the front runner?

When he doesn't win for the second year in a row local media can, for the second year in a row, write more stories about a white player losing NPOY to a black player than they ever wrote about systemic racism for decades in the football program and athletic department. And for the second year in a row they won't get the irony in the situation.

Is he still the front runner? I'm still more impressed with Ayo from Illinois.

If Illinois stays hot and Iowa ends up with like 10 losses I think Ayo has a great case.

Garza and Ayo are also both benefiting from Gonzaga's balance. Kispert is incredible but he doesn't need to assert himself every night. Before someone complains about the WCC, Kispert's numbers were actually better in the non-conference. He had big games against Kansas and Auburn and went crazy on Virginia.

He plays no defense, so I guess he gets the "all-time offense award".
Cool story but it's not factual. Check their advanced analytics. Both players have a DWS of 0.4 which means neither of them plays very good defense. Why do you assume Bolton is a good defender?

Lol oh my God
You've already made it clear you have no idea how important efficiency is in basketball. I want the guy on the floor that makes passing to Garza the #1 option every time he has the ball.

Bolton = 3.1 turnovers per game
Bohannon + Fredrick + Connor = 2.4 turnovers per game

Iowa's 3 main ball handlers average less combined turnovers than Bolton.

What’s the worthlessness proficiency number Connor? I’m guessing it’s north of 8 billion.

Connor f'n sucks dude lol. You can say it. Fran won't yell at you.

What's the fascination with Connor and some of you Iowa fans on here? The guy flat out stinks at literally everything outside of not turning the ball over very often. Everything else he's either below average or mediocre at.
