The Fran fade

I'd be shocked if they lose this one. I see them hitting a bunch of 3s early and coasting.

However Rutgers should have beaten them earlier this year so who knows.
That's true.. What happens if Iowa goes 2-5 during this stretch? Lol

Good question. Have they done enough to be on the right side of the bubble if that happens?

Their Net will be high so they will be fine. This year the power conferences are going to get the nod over mid major at large teams. Plus Iowa doesn't have a "bad loss" on their resume and that goes a long ways.

Iowa drops 7 spots to #15.

I feel like that may be too high, idk why losing to Indiana, a 10-8 team doesn't drop you further, especially losing to them twice in this short of a span. That said, 10-8 would be one of the better teams they've beaten.

I think they're reluctant to drop them too far considering one of Iowa's best players has been out during this downhill slide. If Iowa goes 1-1 this week though, I wouldn't be surprised if they drop into the 20's.

Can a guy only averaging 1 minute per game more than Connor Mac really be considered all that important?

They have lost their last 4 of 5 and they are still #15. My take is that with all the blue bloods being down this year, the Big Ten is being treated by the media as THE conference in the country not unlike what they do with the SEC in football. So I wouldn't be surprised if they lose the next two that they will still be ranked. The media will more than likely just move Rutgers way up and probably move MSU into the rankings.

Honestly, he's the key to that team from what I've seen. You know what you're going to get from Garza. Weiscamp you know he's going to get his, although he can disappear at times from not being aggressive enough. Bohannon is streaky, Connor is streakier. Frederick is the one guy who if he's open, he's going to hit it. You absolutely cannot double off of him. They are way tougher to guard with him playing.
