Color me shocked. Kind of like how your cutoff for a great season is 1 AP spot in the rankings. Who would have guessed?
Iowa was way better than Oregon this past season.
and maybe Campbell will stay and we'll find out. I just think after next season would be the perfect timing for him to make a move if he's going to.
The statement was ISU had a "way better" season. Do you think OSU had a "way better" season than ISU did? I certainly don't. They had a better season, just like ISU had a better season than Iowa.
Ok, I haven't seen anyone say the first statement. There have been a couple posters claiming that ISU will make the CCG more times than not moving forward, and @CyTwins is one of them, @inCyteful is the other, and I'm sure lots more agree as well.

Show me one place where I said ISU will make the CCG more than not moving forward. I said they would make it as often as they didn't as long as CMC is here.

And while you and your brethren are at it, please explain, finally, what affect ISU's performance and recruiting have on Iowa's? I know you all feel compelled to tear down the excitement our fan base is feeling about the football program but he point of this thread is "Iowa Football Recruiting". Frankly, I am stunned at how willing hokfan is to make ISU the center of football attention. I think that says a lot about what is going on in both camps.
More times than not?? That's not happening. If they actually said that I'd disagree completely with them, however I doubt they actually said that.
I think what's happening is that as a whole, most Iowa State fans are just incredibly excited for the direction of the program and maybe you're being a bit salty? Sure some Iowa State fans go over the top at times and say stupid things, but that's not the total representation of the fanbase. No different than me not thinking every Iowa fan is always commenting on Iowa State message boards.
You know what Iowa state has never had? Two reports talking about the racist culture of their football program.
Iowa can’t say the same. But that doesn’t stop you from fully supporting every single thing they’ve done.
But if you take the ratings upgrade at positions like OT with Davidkov over Maro but then you take a downgrade at positions like RB, CB, and TE. Which were big positions of need at ISU in this class. ISU definitely wanted Keegan Johnson but outside WR wasn’t a huge need in this class.
