Iowa Football Recruiting

I never said we would've beaten Iowa. I said we would've gotten 10 wins because we would've gotten to play South Dakota and UNLV who were terrible. I just found it funny that you said Iowa State wasn't good because we lost to Louisiana in our first game and then went on the road to beat TCU who was better than anyone in the Big 10 West not named Northwestern.

ISU and Iowa would have both won 10+ games this year if they played a full schedule.

I am sure he wasn't, so it just furthers the question, what does basketball have to do with this thread?

I know you know and are too knuckleheaded to drop it because you don't have any other argument but I don't like letting cowards like you off the hook.

Like I already said, I want to see how consistent he is.

Couple more months go by then they are gonna tell us Iowa actually had a better season than we did. Book it.

This is just dumb, I haven't said that once yet, and won't ever say Iowa had a better season than ISU in '20

Yes

What 2021 class would you rather have, the Iowa class or ISU class?

My issues with your question is that what class would you rather have and who had a better class are 2 different questions. I could see someone easily make a case that Iowa had a better recruiting class but ISU is better off with their class considering the positions and fit of players. For instance look at Sullivan, very highly rated player but ISU didn’t want him because he doesn’t have a position that he could succeed at in ISU’s defense.

What’s hilarious is that they keep writing off the season due to Covid and then have an mind blowing orgasm over rankings.

finishing a season ranked 16th would have been the Clones best season ever. Now it would just be 2nd best.

Some Clone fans have just lost their freaking minds. They think what ISU did this year is the most impressive feat in college football ever, they think ISU will be playing for CCG more than 50% of the time moving forward, they are insulted if you have the audacity to think they might only win 7/8 games ever again in the history of CMC time at ISU.

Who is writing off ISU's season due to COVID? The reality is Iowa has 40% of their season "written off", but ISU certainly didn't. ISU was totally legit #9 in '20 in my mind.

That spin will not fly with a big portion of the Iowa class considering a lot of kids in the Iowa class had an ISU offer.

I have not seen one person say that Iowa state going 9-3 and winning a NY6 bowl is the most impressive feat ever in CFB history, or that we'll almost always play in a CCG, or that we'll never win less than 9 games.

You're blowing that out of proportion big time.
