Or just take away some of Jordan's minutes.....
Would you have taken minutes away from Jordan when he averaged 17 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.8 rebounds on 22/35 from three point range over a five game spurt in Big Ten Play?

Joe obviously isn't tall but I've seen enough Baylor over the years to know length helps and with the first three you mentioned you've got that I guess.Actually the zone with Nunge, Murray, PMac, Perkins and Joe T seems to be our best defensive set.
I mean, I can choose selective windows too, right?Would you have taken minutes away from Jordan when he averaged 17 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.8 rebounds on 22/35 from three point range over a five game spurt in Big Ten Play?
Yes. He's terrible. So is Connor and PatrickWould you have taken minutes away from Jordan

Okay, now let’s take a look at the rest of the their stats, tied in assists, has a lot more boards, steals, and blocks. How and the hell are they tied for assists? They have one of the best players in the country and “shooters” everywhere. Bohannon is worse, no argument to be made. Why would you not use eFG% or TS% to figure out who is the more efficient shooter?
Just using FG% does not make a lot of sense considering the disparity of 2 point attempts and 3 point attempts between Botlon and Bohannon.
I guess I go by the law of averages then. I'm looking at the composite numbers of a season and factoring in that defenses don't have to worry about him inside 20' nor really have to worry about his defensive presence. Those are probably tough to quantify but good coaches/players can probably exploit those. But that's the point. There are times when Jordan should be playing a lot, and then sometimes when he shouldn't. That is up for Fran to decide which admittedly he hung with him way too long against Indiana, but last night he handled it perfectly. Easier said than done I know. When Jordan is on, I think Iowa is a legitimate top 10 team and big difference maker.
Bohannon: 55.2%
Bolton: 50.3%
Connor: 43.3%
Remember that's his percentages when he's wide open while Bolton is the focal point of the defenseConner should have picked baseball full time.

No one is focusing on Bolton in the 2nd half when ISU is down 20 pts. That's when he excels.Remember that's his percentages when he's wide open while Bolton is the focal point of the defense

Man, that's crazy that a hall of famer Huggins would almost get beat twice (in one season alone) with that strategy. No one is focusing on Bolton in the 2nd half when ISU is down 20 pts. That's when he excels.
You talk in circles. You say they play zone because of JoBo the you say they always play zone, then say they mix it up. I don’t think it’s a press, it’s just JoBo and Garza still jogging down the court. What don't you understand? They play zone and man every game. Sometimes they press, sometimes they don't. They constantly change defenses. Even when he had his youngest most athletic team on the floor he played some zone.
You probably watched the game.I heard on the radio that Mr. Not clutch himself turned the ball over in the final seconds against WVU going for the tie or win. I think there was another game this year he did the same thing, chance to tie or win the game and Bolton turned it over.
You probably watched the game.
Not at all. Murph and Andy were talking about it, and played the radio call by Walters. Heck Walters said it was a charge by Bolton, but the refs didn't call it.
It should have been a charge FWIW. West Virginia big guy cut him off and made a good play. Horrible no call that didn't matter because JCL fouled the WVU guy right afterMy ISU friend said that he was out of control and lost the ball off his hip. So Not sure what it was.
Bolton was driving and a WV flew into (with an assist from solo) Bolton like a hockey check. Should have been a blocking foul but would have only been two shots. My ISU friend said that he was out of control and lost the ball off his hip. So Not sure what it was.
