What is more of a joke. Iowa still at 8th or Kansas still ranked?
Iowa is 8th in AP, 5th in KenPom, 5th in Sagarin and 5th in Bart Torvik.
Kansas is 23rd in the AP, 22nd in KenPom, 17th in Sagarin and 34th in Bart Torvik.
When you say it like that I have to agree both are wildly overrated.
Someone the hawkeye fans love since he rates them high. Like a couple years ago, they talked about the Matt's Ranking list to say Iowa was better than ISU in football. Nobody knew who Matt was.

You missed his point. He's saying both of them being ranked that high is ridiculous.
He had Iowa somewhere in the high 20's or low 30's in the preseason, much lower than the AP, KenPom or Sagarin had the Hawkeyes.
If there isn't any teams more deserving of being ranked 8th than Iowa, how can it be ridiculous?
I wouldn't say wildly overrated for Iowa. I feel they should be about 12th or so.
I think OU and Alabama should be ranked above Iowa at this current moment.
The question we should all ask ourselves.....would the #8 team really give Bobo the last shot when he hadn't made much all night?
