Iowa Football Recruiting

It's just really ironic how all of these testy responses come after losses. The man is a fuc*ing toddler. Of course the Iowa fan boys don't have a problem with it, the don't want their credentials pulled.

The questions were about Bohannon barely scoring in games they have lost and about the officiating. He either gets into detail and potentially throws a player under the bus and publicly criticizes the officials, which he has done a lot of times in the past and caught heat for, and rightfully so. Or, he basically gives a "no comment" answer.

Fran has his faults, sideline behavior at the very top of the list.

But I do not think he was out of line on Friday night after the game. He just did not respond to questions about the officiating or about Bohannon not playing well. If he goes off on the officials after the game or throws Bohannon under the bus then people are ticked off about that.

Also, I have not seen one local media guy that had a problem with the way Fran conducted the press conference Friday night.

Other than the completely disgraceful "I'm pouting" nature of it?

Believe it or not but it is possible to tip toe around a question without being a complete d!ck.

Remind me why Pandemic years don't count?

I know Iowa's year was screwed up by their conference - but hey- it's your conference, that is part of a program. Iowa chooses to be there. I think we have been very clear here that being in the B1G is a bad thing. You flaunt how great it is, until you don't because they do something stupid.

Iowa played 40% of it's normal schedule, win totals are going to be skewed big time. 6 wins in a normal year is horrible, Iowa didn't have a horrible year, they just only got to play 8 games. As I said if you wanna talk win %, that's cool.

When have I ever said this year doesn't count? ISU finished AP #9, Iowa finished AP #16, that is what happened.

I am talking about low win totals because Iowa lost 40% of it's season is all.
You just posted 2015-2019 ranked opponents and left out 2020 because it was a pandemic year

Apparently you, however I'm guessing from this response you didn't actually say that.

I have said this season counts like 100 times on here. I am only saying win total's for big10 and Pac12 teams are going to be skewed by the pandemic season and the fact they played 33-40% less games than the ACC, Big12, and SEC did.

So what does ISU get if they finish 5th for Nwankpa? Same thing they got for finishing 5th for Bollers?
Iowa State finished 5th for Bollers? You get nothing for not finishing first for a recruit. I'm just letting you know he's more interested in Iowa State than Iowa just like Bollers was

Win and loss totals for B1G and PAC12 teams are definitely skewed. Obviously you cant sit here and say "Iowa only won 6 games". You also can't sit here and say "Iowa only lost 2 games".

Exactly and that is what I am saying. If you want to use win%, that is legit, but to say Iowa has averaged 8 wins over the last 8 years, well that is kind of crap. They averaged 9 wins per year from '13-'19, and the '20 season skews that down to 8 if you only add in the 6 wins, to add that 8th year.

So I am specifically responding to the ISU claim of 8 wins per year over 8 years that uses the skewed 6 win total from '20. Nowhere did I ever saying this season didn't count.
