Iowa Football Recruiting

ISU recruited Brody till the end even though they knew their chances were slim to none. Brody has the best athleticism, size, hands and routes. He's the best.
I think Brecht is very good, there is just something about Keagan that stands out to me. I guess we’ll know in the end.

Serious question for either fan base, why do people think there is any difference from a high 3* and a 4*? These evaluators throw crap at the wall every day.

Still think Iowa ends up with Jace Ruder from North Carolina. 4* out of Kansas in HS, got hurt then got behind the dude who is gonna be an AA next year. Iowa or Mizzou for him. 3 years of eligibility and is immediate. He talked a bunch of trash on Kstate in HS so wont go there. Heard KU is pushing HARD but that will be a tough sell.

Could be interesting. He would be guaranteed a starter role at Iowa

For the first time ever

2015: Big10 West 3 top 25 teams (43%) Big12 4 (40%)
2016: Big10 West 1 top 25 team (14%) Big12 3 (30%)
2017: Big10 West 2 top 25 teams (29%) Big12 3 (30%)
2018: Big10 West 2 top 25 teams (29%) Big12 3 (30%)
2019: Big10 West 3 top 25 teams (43%) Big12 3 (30%)
2020: * Pandemic

So the Big10 West was decisively better in '19, and the Big12 was decisively better in '16. Toss ups in '15, '17, & '18

It doesn't surprise that that even when you are slapped in the face with fact you revert back to your default stupidity. Over the last 5 years 31% of Big10 West teams have finished in the top 25 compared to 32% for the Big12.

Plus the Big10 then has to face more ranked teams from the Big10 East on top of that. Iowa has faced 8 additional top 25 ranked teams from the East over those 5 years.
