Iowa Football Recruiting

It is funny that ISU fans are making fun of a top 25 recruiting class when ISU's class isn't even top 50. Iowa took the RB/WR ISU wanted (Bruce, Brecht, and Johnson), and the OL that ISU wanted (Davidkov, Colby, Stephens), and the DL that ISU wanted (Llewellyn, Bowie, Pittman, and Liddle).
Well this just isn't true at all.

And yet, who seems to be getting more from their recruiting classes? At this point, I'd say Campbell is getting more because he develops all the positions on the field. Ferentz seems to only develop the lines, TE, and LB's, while falling short on the skills positions. Not a bad strategy, and Ferentz definitely has proven results. Think what Iowa could do if they equally developed the skills positions like the interior positions.
No, Ferentz doesn't develop crap. We heard for YEARS how Doyle was a God among men and had everything to do with where the Iowa program was. How he developed zero star players into NFL players. He's gone. Those days are likely gone. Yet, Iowa fans will now tell you losing Doyle didn't mean crap and they will be fine. It's just their coping mechanism

Iowa has scoreboard on Ohio State.
Lucky ya'll missed them again for like the 7th time in 10 years or something like that cause they would have taken your team behind the wood shed. I mean you haven't played a team in your OWN CONFERENCE going on 4 years and won't play them until 2022. Iowa is so lucky to get to play such a soft schedule year in and year out. I'm jealous

LOL, then go back to your "One True Champion" stuff and see how many more playoffs that gets you shut out of.
You literally just proved his point that the Big12 only added the CCG because of money. They got left out of the playoffs for having "1 less data point." So they added the CCG to get more money from the TV provides and to appease the CFP committee in giving them "another data point" so that they help their chances of getting into the playoff where....you guessed it, more money.

Hoks schedule is a joke almost every year. That's why they earn the title of college football fake ID.

you are so bad at this.
Best Recruits of each recruiting class since 2014:

2020:
ISU: Daniel Jackson
HOK: ???
MVP: Daniel Jackson

2019:
ISU: Breece Hall
HOK: Tyler Goodson
MVP: Breece Hall

2018:
ISU: Brock Purdy
HOK: Tyler Linderbaum
MVP: Brock Purdy

2017:
ISU: Charlie Kolar
HOK: Tristan Wirfs
MVP: Tristan Wirfs (about the only one that could beat Kolar)

2016:
ISU: David Montgomery
HOK: Noah Fant or TJ Hockenson
MVP: David Montgomery

2015:
ISU: Hakeem Butler
HOK: James Daniels
MVP: Daniels (close)

2014:
ISU: Allen Lazard
HOK: Josh Jackson
MVP: Allen Lazard

Your list is one only a ISU fan would agree with, it is really laughable. I will point to scoreboard as well, since you seem to think you have all the best players, it certainly didn't translate to the field.

2014: Iowa > ISU
2015: Iowa > ISU
2016: Iowa > ISU
2017: Iowa > ISU
2018: Iowa > ISU
2019: Iowa > ISU
2020: Pandemic

Interesting picks. I think the more interesting thing is a lot of the guys you picked for isu yes were beasts at ISU and meant more to the team overall, but in terms of draft success still have to give it to the Hawks.
2019: Breece is clear winner and will probably be 1st rounder. Goodson, 4-5th round guy
2018: Linderbaum is a freak, 1st round guy, top 10 even. Purdy is a 2nd to 3rd rounder
2017: Wirfs is a freak and was 13th overall. Charlies is amazing but not beating that.
2016: Two TE's drafted in first round and Montgomery was 3rd round. Now, you could argue David has had more success, but it's whatever
2015: Butler was 3rd round, is he even with a team right now? We will see where Daniels goes. I don't expect crazy high, 3rd round?
2014: Lazard has became a beast but went undrafted. Jackson was a second rounder

2014 and 2019 aren't even close. It's ISU. I could make an argument for ISU in 2015

I'm basing it off entirety of college career.

Do you jerk off to the thought of that being true or something? Cause you sure say it a lot and appear to actually believe it

ISU fans jerk off to the idea that ISU somehow has this schedule that is so tough that no team could possible win playing it. You do that because you have had your faced kicked in your entire history. Just stop with that Lil brother mentality. What you will find is when you are good, mediocre teams aren't kicking your ass and your schedule isn't so tough.

Plus the fact is the majority of SOS metrics say that Iowa has had the tougher SOS in 3 of the last 6 years.

Literally not one single person has ever said that. Ever. God you are so bad at this. The only person who has little brother mentality are losers like you who continue to come to your rivals fan page to jerk off with the thought of how good Iowa is when in reality the majority of your wins are a smoke show based on a garbage schedule and beat trash teams.
