Oregon had 2 losses in conference. Washington, USC and Colorado had 1 loss.
Oregon only got to play that game because of a pandemic. If that isn't deserving of an asterisk, nothing is.

In order to get to the championship game, you have to perform well in conference games, correct? Washington was the best performing team in the Pac 12 North division, given they only had 1 loss. You get an asterisk when you make the championship game only because the team that finished with a better record than you, can't play due to Covid. In any normal year, USC and WA would have been playing in that game and Oregon would have stayed home.

By this logic ISU fans must be super pissed about Iowa's perfect regular season and RSCC in 2015. I mean you guys still cheer for the Stanford Cyclones and talk about that game to this day.
In a normal year Washington and Oregon would have played and Oregon gives Washington their second loss so Oregon would have played in the CCG in a normal year.
It's amusing that Iowa fans talked so much trash about Stanford because of a common opponent. It's like a team can't lay an egg at the beginning of the year and improve as the season goes along.
