Interesting that you could foresee that bowl matchup because the Hawk fans on this site were calling it an asterisk year long before that announcement. Sorry it doesn’t work that way. If it is an asterisk year, it includes the whole school year. But we are used to hawk trolls moving the goal posts.
Iowa didn't take advantage, but didn't they play Gonzaga after Gonzaga shut things down for a week or two? They missed 5 games leading up to a top 3 match-up.
Oregon wasn't even supposed to be in that game. Washington was and they had to withdraw. Oregon tied for 3rd in the conference.
An asterisk year is playing the 3rd place team from a conference because the 1st place team had to cancel.

Yes, Iowa and Isu should both have an asterisk for football. Iowa hasn't been impacted in basketball yet, assuming they reschedule 2 games.
Basketball has been affected as well. I agree that there is no asterisk needed this year.
You said Washington was first place in the conference and Oregon was third place in the conference. That doesn't add up
Even the Pac 12 released a statement that Oregon would represent the North in the championship game BECAUSE Washington had to opt out.
Washington and USC both had 1 loss. Oregon had 2. That adds up.
