Why is everyone so tightly wound around here? I mean you'd think I was making the stats on Purdy up or something. It isn't my fault his QB rating has fallen every year at ISU.
we'll compare Purdy's Heisman votes next year and go with that ok? Seems like that is a fair enough way to compare players of different generations.
So this is a classy well informed ISU fan. Why aren't more of you guys that post here like this guy?
This is actually a topic I would like to get your advice on, glad you brought it up.
See, my thinking is - I really like how the team improved and the fact that we made a NY6 bowl and CCG this year. And I really like that we have pretty much the entire team back. So I am really excited about the team doing even better next year.
But the question is, would I give that all up for one player getting a better rating?
I just don't know which way to go? Any thoughts?
Why are you so obsessed with a meaningless stat? Why has your troll game dropped so pathetically? Why do you still even come here? Why can't Iowa even find a QB that has room for their rating to drop? Why do good football players keep leaving Iowa's program? Why has ISU passed Iowa in football success in just 5 years?
Answer some of the questions about Iowa's fading program if you are such a keen analyzer of college football.

It is pretty when Purdy was setting statistical records it was all about how he didn't win enough. Now that he won a NY6 bowl they want to nitpick his statistics even though they are still better than any QB they have had since Banks lol
These are golden days when Hoks best play against us is the QBR of a QB that is in the Heisman hunt.
Think about that for a minute.
That's embarrassing he actually could think Farley is a bad person but remain silent about what's happened on Kirk's watch.
But then again, ths majority of these Iowa posters are the same.
It's just pathetic.
If this guy was a QB on Penn St’s roster this year and didn’t get a shot to play, considering how awful their QB play was, he should consider going FCS.
