I believe it was the 2015 team. 2005 team finished 7-5 I think and not ranked.

I was asking Pre season/Week 1. I don't think that 2015 team was even ranked pre season.

But you said ISU would beat everyone but Alabama, how can they beat someone ranked higher than them?

Of course it is a tool, but not the end all be all. ULL had a really good season and got to play a lot more games than Iowa did.

If the AP poll is the end all be all, then no lower ranked team would have beat a higher ranked team.
