Iowa Football Recruiting

The great news is that is La Canfora is the one reporting it, there is almost a certainty that is isn’t happening. Great news.

More than just La Canforta on this. If you look at my post earlier today I said I don't think Campbell leaves but it's likely he talks to the Jets.

He would be smart to talk to the Jets at least, to at least get some experience in talking to NFL teams, and to get more bargaining power with Pollard. In the end CMC won't leave now. He has set himself up to have another very good year in Ames in '21, but '22 is gonna be a rebuild. I'd bet he looks hard next offseason at his options, and talking to the Jets just makes sense.

Who do you think will be better this upcoming year? Iowa or Iowa State?

Too early to say.

Transfer season is just getting going. One school could have coaching changes that could have significant roster implications.

Get back to me with this question after spring ball.

You really are banking on Iowa getting a grad transfer QB?

Purdy is good. I am a bit concerned that his QB rating has dropped 2 consecutive years now since you said that is all that matters, but he is still a good QB.
So you're stance is Iowa State was better this year, will be better next year and then who knows after that?

First, isn't the term grad transfer outdated at this point?

Second, Iowa was a top 15 team this season with Petras. Not sure that is out biggest position of need right now.
Whoa. If QB isn't the biggest position of need right now what is?
