Penn State’s football team was top 6 at one point this year and no one would call them elite.


Team currently tied for 3rd in its conference good not elite

Conference defensive player of the year is elite.

Good news is that Iowa’s season isn’t over. They could get there.

Not many seniors??? I believe you are losing 8-9 senior starters plus Nixon. Losing 9-10 starters is a lot in a normal year. It's huge this year with the all of the returning Seniors,

My point is let the season play out before we throw elite on a team. Especially when the results so far aren’t overwhelmingly supportive. Is Drake elite?

Heflin is not coming back.

Wade started the first game of the year I think and thats it. Cronk played 1, maybe 2, games total.

You listed 3 DT's (Nixon, Heflin, Schulte) as starters. Schulte was not a starter.

cronk didn’t ge hurt he starts all year.. it’s a loss.. All these guys either starters or major contributors..

Schulte played fair amount.. he’s auto starter if he returned..

Is it a good thing to get a bunch of crystal balls for a kid that also has offers from Texas, FSU, Oregon and MSU among many others?
