You got thrown a bone by playing a team that didn’t even win its division. You guys got thrown a bone that year getting a month to prep for the triple option
Regular Season matters now? I thought the postseason championship was all that matteredYou got thrown a bone by playing a team that didn’t even win its division.
Iowa was thrown a bone by only having to play 25% of schedule against teams with a winning record. No, wait. Sorry, that is standard for B1G.You got thrown a bone by playing a team that didn’t even win its division.
I'm not the sharpest tack when it comes to sports history, but what decade was Ga Tech good at football? My grandpappy was the biggest Hok of all time and I've never heard of this bowl game. Not sure if you’re serious? Slow burn, Don't they hurt the worst? So basically ISU and OU were the divionsal Champions of the Big12 and they played in the Conference Championship game to determine the Conference Champion. Got it.
this is not a serious or rational post. Try againLOL remember 2010? Georgia tech?!? They came from the bottom feeder ACC and ran the triple option. IN 2010?!?! Oregon may not have been the best but I just gave you the worst.

It was a simple question, I didn't mean to make you get all emotional over this. I'll just Google it.Of course you haven’t..,,your‘re a cyclone fan.up until just a couple years ago you thought the Liberty bowl was the pinnacle of college football
Actual? You mean like winning a Big10 championship game actual? Hmmm...Hayden won 3 actual conference championship. CMC has won 0 Conference Championship. CMC will finish higher in the AP poll than Fry ever did though, I’ll agree with that. Heck what the hell, I’ll even let you count your fake championship. Let’s talk when CMC get 2 more of those fake championship, then he will be in Frys orbit at least.
I can't want to see the Big12 Regular Season Conference Champions 2020 banner hanging on the outside of Jack Trice. I will drive to Ames to take a picture of it and that would be my new Avatar.
You're really taking this NY6 win hard. This is sad to see you unravelOf course you haven’t..,,your‘re a cyclone fan.up until just a couple years ago you thought the Liberty bowl was the pinnacle of college football
You're expecting Iowa State to hang a banner outside of Jack Trice Stadium? Does that happen places?
Actual? You mean like winning a Big10 championship game actual? Hmmm...
No. 1:
In the final game of the 1981 regular season, Iowa's win over Michigan State, coupled with an Ohio State upset of Michigan in Ann Arbor, gave Iowa a share of the 1981 Big Ten title. Since Iowa had last been to the Rose Bowl in 1959, the Hawkeyes got the conference's berth in the 1982 Rose Bowl. (Talk about bones being thrown!)
No.2:
Iowa would finish the season with a 10–1 record, losing only in Columbus to Ohio State. Still, Iowa would win its first outright Big Ten title.
No.3:
Iowa's final regular season game in 1990 was against Minnesota, and Iowa entered the game with records of 8–2 overall and 6–1 in the Big Ten. Early in the game, results of other Big Ten games gave Fry his third conference title and third Rose Bowl berth in ten years more than any other Big Ten Conference team. However, Iowa's loss to Minnesota cost the Hawkeyes the outright conference crown; the Hawks finished tied atop the Big Ten Conference standings with Illinois, Michigan, and Michigan State, all of which compiled 6–2 league records.
My joints are getting sore just thinking about SquawkNation's mental gymnastics routine.
That response really makes no sense on so many levels.Of course you haven’t..,,your‘re a cyclone fan.up until just a couple years ago you thought the Liberty bowl was the pinnacle of college football
