Oh? I didn't catch the game on TV, no Longhorn for me. How was his defense? If Bolton could have played an average game last night, Clones would have pulled the upset last night I feel. But instead he had 5 of the 8 TOS and didn’t shoot well.

Don't you dare say the D word to Iowa Basketball fansOh? I didn't catch the game on TV, no Longhorn for me. How was his defense?
Sounds like he watched the game, so I'm curious. Unless he checked out basketball "drive charts."Don't you dare say the D word to Iowa Basketball fans
This is where I'm at. I just don't see Garza as anything other than a guy who might hang around the NBA. He can't defend a ball screen for his life and NBA players will absolutely abuse his lack of foot speed. The NBA as you said is just so different now than it was 20 years ago. There just aren't many spots for a player like Garza any longer.
Iowa values offensive possessions. They aren't starting a guy that turns it over 3.3 times a game and is a chucker. Bohannon and McCaffrey combined turn it over 2.6 times per game.Bolton wouldn't start at Iowa, they are a top 10 team. I do think he would take JoeT minutes though.
If Iowa values offensive possessions, those two are shooting .378 and .345 this year, which aren't that far from their career averages.Iowa values offensive possessions. Iowa State's defense is better than Iowa's this yearTell me more about Steve Prohms great defenses these last 4 years. Oh yeah his defense sucks as bad as Iowa, but without having great offenses.
Iowa State fans is there really any strength you see from Prohm aside from getting talent? He's very good recruiter as he's gotten some big time guys that Fran doesn't seem to get often and also find some good under valued prospects. After that imo it feels he's not helping the team reach its ceiling most years.Tell me more about Steve Prohms great defenses these last 4 years. I'll admit to doing that once. I got a knee squarely to the nose playing rugby and he wasn't going to let me continue unless I stopped the gush of blood. We had no subs and no med kit so I asked a girl on the sidelines (girlfriend of a teammate) if there was a tampon in her bag. I got back on the pitch in under a minute and we promptly scored.Trying to find the show “Moonshiners” and came across some game where some guy lost the ball and somehow fell down. Purdue got the ball and scored. Upon further replay it turned out it was Patty McCaffy. Dude trip over his own feet! I about died laughing. Well worth the watch to see that. Then found “Moonshiners”. Way better program. Saw on ESPN where Garza had a tampon in his nose. Someone punch him in the suckhole?? They didn’t show what happened.
I'll never forget the 2004-05 team scoring 24 in OT after only scoring 68 in regulation to beat #10 Texas in Austin. Tasheed Carr scored 13 in OT including two threes and a conventional 3 point play. ISU ended up beating the Horns by 12.
After a temporary ban, yes I have.
