The Big10 Presidents and conference certainly robbed its teams, coaches and players from having a full season. Pac12 as well. Crazy stupid of them as the ACC/SEC/Big12 all showed you could have gotten the season in if you were planned it out, were careful and actually put thought and effort into it.
I wasn't over here much for it, but in general were most ISU fans on this site for college football to have a season? I know lots of Hawk fans were even saying the right thing to do was punt the season. Tons of sports talking heads and journalist said as much as well. What were ISU fans thoughts on it for the most part?
I wasn't look to re debate the issue, just curious what ISU fans felt at the time was all. I guess if we open that up though, you are right some will fly right back down the rabbit hole.
Interesting that you put it like that -- no wins over ANY ranked team and no wins over teams with a winning record and you think it is no joke that Iowa should be ranked in the top 15.

You do realize that ISU got the last at large spot for the NY6 bowl games right? For the committee it came down to Indiana, ISU or Coastal for that last spot and who to rank #10 and send them to the Fiesta bowl. If they would have put Indiana there, I'd be saying they threw Indiana a bone. You guys are getting way too butthurt of the term "throw a bone" here. I have said several time it was the right call the committee made, and they threw the bone to the correct team.
After the ULL game, a lot of ISU fans were saying this season doesn’t really count and that they didn’t care.
There was a whole thread about it on here and that’s what my cyclone friends were telling me too.
Are you saying that finishing in the AP top 15 or so is a bad year, or bad teams finish there?
