Suppose it literally can't get worse but I like your optimism for a QB with a career 53% completion rate at the high school level
Albert Young was the starter ahead of Greene and he went for over 1300 yds in one season as well. Greene took a year off of football and then won the Doak Walker award.
Does it really matter? Everyone thought Stanley sucked but Iowa still won with him starting 3 years in a row.
What's your point? Hall wasn't the starter to begin last season. Greene got 68 carries in 2 years before leaving for a year.
Well Stanley was way better than Petras.

Stanley was good enough to beat ISU 3 times. It could be Uncle Rico and Iowa would still have a good change to win.
Hall made the staff play him as a true freshman while Greene was behind Damian Sims for two years

I want them to win every game. Apparently you think Iowa can't beat ISU because of their qb. They have been able to 3 years straight with a guy you said is not very good.
Petras can't beat a good team. Iowa State would have beat Iowa this year and I'm not sure it's close. Iowa State also didn't see a QB as bad as Petras
Greene was playing behind an all big ten running back that had 1300 yds. There was no one in front of Hall like that.
I have high hopes for Hogan. I know you like to judge based on offers. He had Georgia, Baylor, OK St, Tennessee, Colorado, IOWA STATE, Houston and several others.
