Guessing Harris and Pitts win, unfortunately.
Pitts is easily winning the macky. I think Hall will win the Doak Walker but could see it going to Harris.
I think Hall was the favorite for the Doak until the SEC championship game happened and Harris went bananas.
Agree...when I saw the stat line Saturday (and that Breece had a below average rushing game) i thought the same.
The GOOD thing.....you'd THINK he will be a pre-season favorite AND be in the initial Heisman discussion (which is needed to have a shot, unfortunately).....and of course our big 12 title and consistent top 5 ranking next year will help
Pitts will definitely win the Mackey, he is a class above everyone else. Watching him you forget he’s a TE because his skill set is so WR-like.
I love Breece, but Etienne is the best RB in the country. And he is way under utilized by Clemson. If they gave him 25 carries a game he'd have 2000 yards easily.
Probably in the way that Jimmy Graham used to play “TE” for the Saints, just a giant bodied slot receiver.
Troy Davis couldn't even win the Doak Walker over Byron Hanspard. A complete joke. Breece needs to run for 2,500 yards next year to have a chance.

The o-line hasn't been great in run blocking this year. Breece rarely has holes to run through and has a lot of 1 and 2 yard runs. But he busts off some big runs to get the stats that he has. It's impressive. His numbers are way down over the last few games. Even so, the line had very little experience coming into the season. The experience they have gained this year will be huge going into next year. Plus Downing will be back. O-line could actually be a strength next year.
Making it to the Final 3 on BOTH of those Awards is AWESOME!
