I wouldn’t be against Mordecai. He’s just in a situation where he can’t get playing time due to being behind a rising star in Rattler.

After yesterday I would think you would stop giving other teams crap about quarterback play for a few days.
Nothing could discourage us from highlighting how much better our QB room is than the hoks. Won bigger games all season, led our team to the CCG and played at a top 10 level in the game.
What is amazing is that a hok would be on here calling out any teams QB.
I don't think I called out anyone's QB, just thought it was odd timing to give Iowa crap their QB. We are all aware that the Oregon State kid had a bad season.
Congrats on your historic season, but even in a down year for them OU wins the Big 12.
Iowa state and Kansas State have been the two conference foes that have shown the ability to beat Lincoln Riley. It just so happened they both beat him this year. Not a down year for OU. They just weren't able to beat the two teams in the conference that don't try to out Oklahoma, Oklahoma.
The best thing about next year's schedule is we'll have a fake top 20 team in our non con.

What result on your 2020 schedule gives you any inclination Iowa could complete with a top 10 team?
Kind of a weird flex. The 2 biggest games of Purdy's career were this OK game and last year's bowl game. Yikes.
He is a good QB, but he isn't very clutch.
Only one team per year wins their biggest challenge. Ok maybe Cincinnati too but that's because they didn't have any real challenges on the schedule.
Huh, and yours was against Northwestern...double yikes. Basically the only game against a top 25 team and an "L". I'm sure he would have been great against Indiana or Ohio State.
I would argue the Texas game on black Friday this year was bigger than any bowl game. Also the Alamo Bowl vs Washington State was just as big as the Camping World Bowl and he was great that game
What I don't understand is why you guys hate Purdy. I know it's because the hype he gets but you guys don't seem to hate Hall who gets more hype than him
Don't hate Purdy at all. He is a really good QB and would've been a major upgrade at Iowa this year. Hall is just on another planet. Kind of a Reggie Bush and Saquon Barkley kind of player. He is amazing.
Fair enough. I agreed with Campbell that I thought Purdy actually played pretty well Saturday. His mobility was the only reason we had a chance to win the game
