He has the potential to pass Hornacek as the ISU NBA GOAT. His stat lines will likely remain somewhat meg the next few years because of the Lakers depth but he should also have several shots at big games when LBJ or AD are resting.

Sorry i thought was talking about Okie St in the Big 12 last year for some reason.

What's this about? I don't get it.
It's only preseason but I don't even need to look up that it's the best stat line for a Cyclone in any NBA preseason game. He was +36 in +/- and the closest player to him was +16.
Shot high percentage from 2/3/ft, dominated the boards, 4 steals, 4 assists, just 2 turnovers being the primary ball handler most of the game. Pretty much a flawless game.
It's the NBA...who cares?
You don’t care about our student athletes doing well in their careers after their time at ISU?
Didn't say that.
I don't care about the NBA. Or the NFL. Or any professional sports. The fact that people make the kind of money they do playing a game is ridiculous to me.
Not surprising, though, in the United States of Entertainment.
Al Davis?
Thanks for interrupting this thread with your social messaging nonsense message (nonsense).I like his quote, "Just win, baby". Didn't care for his team.
I used to follow the NFL until they made it political with all of their social messaging nonsense.

You weren't "simply responding". You posted a yawn and when you didn't get the inquiry you were looking for so you could break out the soapbox you posted another yawn. You're welcome.
You don't have to agree; I was simply responding to an inquiry about my original and subsequent posts. Carry on...

Take that **** to the cave.
???The only one of those you can REALLY credit to Prohm is Shayak.
???
Burton never played for Fred
Nader scored <6 ppg and shot 22% from 3 in Fred’s last year
Thomas scored <5 ppg and shot 33% from 3 Fred’s last year.
I have no idea how much to attribute to a coach vs the player himself, but it can’t be denied that these three made huge improvements under Prohm.
I’m done with Prohm, but some on CF want to somehow give Fred any sort of credit for these guys when frankly when Fred left ISU none of them were very good at the college level.
I agree with this 100% in most things, particularly shooting. It always drove me crazy when people on here say dumb **** like Fred turned Naz into a good shooter. Would love to know the number of minutes Fred and Naz talked shooting mechanics vs the thousands of hours Naz put in the gym shooting.I don’t put too much stock in it in college. The levels of coaching you get with the time limits and the other activities they have to deal with (recruiting mainly) is small compared to being a pro. It took Matt Thomas a lot of shots in Europe to get to where he is right now.
THT was always special, his game and mindset was always made for the pros. Now look at what he’s doing after just being in the life for 18 months. Same with Georges and his shooting. Your life just has to be playing basketball and getting up shots and having unlimited time to train with endless resources at your disposal for guys that aren’t the sure fire stars oozing talent to come good.

I think there are some things a coach can help unlock with unique players. I think Fred did this with Georges, and I think Prohm did this with Nader. But largely I think for most guys they are pretty much solely responsible for how much they improve in college.
For me the college coaches job is to develop the sets and tactics to get the best players in the best position they can be in for their skill set. It’s up to the player to be able to take advantage of that.
Does Prohm do this? I would rate him as a 6/10 or 7/10. I’m talking offensively here.
