Montgomery having a day

5 carries 26 yards isn't awful. 5.2 yards/carry excluding his 80 yarder. He just isn't getting enough touches.

The Bears have a bad habit of going away from Montgomery for long stretches of time. Against the packers, he did not get a touch on the first 3 drives of the second half, despite having a solid first half, and GB having a suspect rush defense.

The Bears got 1 first down on those 3 drives, and 0 points.

Montgomery didn’t run the ball once in the 3rd quarter. Matt Nagy is one giant pile of **** coach. Imagine what DM could be if Nagy would ever let him carry the ball more than 12-14 times a a game? He runs 80 yards in the first play and you only give him the ball 5 more times until the game is out of each and let him run it 5 times in the fourth quarter. Poor DM. He would be getting a ton of praise if he didn’t play with such a **** coach.

When I have watched the Bears, almost every time DM gets the handoff, it is a slugfest from there to the line of scrimmage and then he drags the plie for a couple of yards. When on the rare occasion that he gets a sliver of a hole, he does well. Either the Bears offensive line is vastly over matched or the play calling is atrocious. To me DM is very similar to Ezekiel Elliott in style but without the opportunities.

"Want to focus on the run". + "Montgomery will get his chances." = 11 carries.

Dude averaged 10.3 yards per carry and 14 per catch and they still only go to him 14 times total. I'm sure glad I am not a Bears fan.

He is dead set on proving his little Cordalle Patterson experiment. It's truly bizarre.
