ISU kids leave and transfer to places like Southern Utah, South Alabama, UIC and wherever the heck Leech ended up.

Didn't an Iowa kid transfer to Cal Poly a year ago or so? Not Pemsl, but the other Dubuquer?

I was told they knew he could play in a few games and if it wasn't working out they could just medical redshirt him

I was told recently the plan all along was they were going to test it out to see if he could compete and if not seek a medical redshirt due to his weight

Would we have been better in the long run? McDermott had some bad luck (and bad decisions) while at ISU, but his record at Creighton cannot be dismissed. He knows talent and how to piece a team together...something Prohm is bad at.

He also knows what a bag man is at Creighton

Manipulate what? He is a very recent cancer survivor. Seems like a slamdunk medical redshirt to me. He looks much healthier this year.

Yep I was told before the season and then again in January that it was the plan all along. I'm not why it's a big deal nobody is complaining about it but the whole "you can't criticize Patrick because he was sick last year" just isn't true

Well any time you play some games knowing you're going to take a medical redshirt you're technically manipulating the rule. Naz did it. No big deal. I'm not sure why this is upsetting to you guys lol
