You would think they would understand though. Iowa State has literally built there program the same way Iowa did 20 years ago. It's funny how all of a sudden recruiting stars and rankings matter to hok fans because it's always been about development and finding under the radar guys over there. Hoks have bragged about this approach for years.

Definitely. The best thing that could happen to the State of Iowa is to have 2 perennial top 25 teams. IA has hung around that benchmark. ISU is a tough job and unfortunately I don't think MC is going to stay. I believe he is an excellent coach and hires excellent coaches. The proof is that ISU has not gotten the top guys. That type of development does not go unnoticed.
