Yes they did. Murray is going to be really special.Complete team effort by Iowa tonight.
Murray and Toussaint player their roles to perfection tonight.
Garza is an amazing college player. Definitely early 2nd rounder IMO. He would be a great project/Energy guy off the bench.
I'm not. I'm not sure why I can't post interesting factsWhy are you trying to discredit this win? Iowa is legit.
Petras level special or Brents level special?Yes they did. Murray is going to be really special.
I think at the level of KeornerPetras level special or Brents level special?
PMac is fine. He does his job the way he needs to. Same deal with Conner. Conner is a facilitator not a shooter. He plays decent defense too. Nunge did struggle I agree. Garza was being freaking doubled every time. Of course he isn’t going to be phenomenal every time he touches the ball.I watched 3/4 of the game. My takeaways
Frederick and Wieskamp were great
Bohannon struggled against pressure but hit a lot of 3's. He's so awful defensively
Nunge and Garza struggled
Iowa's defense is bad
Fran's kids are terrible
Garza will make his money playing in Europe, I looked at 5 draft projections for the 2021 draft, none had him listed in the 1st round, one had him listed as the 53 pick to NJ. Hell two had Foster listed in their draft selections, one ahead of Garza. He is the opposite of what the NBA is looking for in a bench big. Very low upside, his best skill is scoring back to the basket (which is basically gone from the league), average rebounder, and basically non-existent as a rim protector. He can shoot the 3 so I guess he has value as like a Steve Novak floor spacer.
If 16 & 14 is a night where Luka struggled, I think they are going to be just fine.PMac is fine. He does his job the way he needs to. Same deal with Conner. Conner is a facilitator not a shooter. CSBPatrick is a 20 year old red shirt freshman, he was born March 20th 2000, Tyrese Haliburton birthday is Feb. 29th 2000. He is a lotto pick in the NBA, after playing two full seasons at ISU and is 3 weeks older than Patrick, who is still playing his red shirt freshman year at EIU.
Garza struggled tonight. He's still great. That wasn't a shot at him if anything it's a compliment Iowa won while he struggledAnd 4 blocks.

Fran also held him and Connor back in school it appearsHe missed a season due to residual health issues from thyroid cancer.
Iowa will have a game in the tournament where they won't be hitting 17 3s. And their defense will abandon them enough to be upset...then Garza is done and Francis will be back at square one. Just have patience.
