What’s the dumbest purchase you’ve made? I’m not talking like realizing you’ve over paid for a car and have buyers remorse, more like something you would have 100% been better off without.

I’ll start: spent $100 on CBD oil as I was told it would help with poor sleep and anxiety. Didn’t do a damn thing. Felt like I got duped by a snake oil salesmen. Might as well have purchased a $100 bottle of water.

Not sure about dumbest but pointless, when I started tying flies I bought all sorts of different materials as 'recipes' call for different types of feathers, whatever on one fly. As time has gone on I used very little of it and really only use very few types of material now like dog hair and burlap which can be free/cheap.

There's a mantra that shops catch more fisherman than fish and it's kinda true.

Also bought a Fender acoustic guitar that looking back really wasn't the sound I was looking for. Was too impulsive.

Ok, you said no cars, but...a Corvette. Because it was the right color. And now, somehow, my wife won't let me sell it, even though we have 2 kids and I haven't driven it more than a handful of times since the pandemic hit.

I haven't bought the oil but I did buy a product call Holistic wellness which is a powder CBD that u pour in a drink of your choice and it literally did nothing like you are talking about. Luckily I only got robbed of 40 bucks and not 100

I regret my house choice. We've lived in it for almost 9 years already.

Now, its probably worth about $50k less than some of the other houses we were looking at of similar price at the time.

Ditto. I bought a brand new Corvette less than 2 years out of college, because I was making stupid oilfield cash. Don't regret buying a fun car, but should have bought used.

What made you get this house?

I would just like to say there was a $100 bottle of water at a swanky restaurant I are at once. I hear it tastes like clouds.

$400 dollar hoverboard. Used it a couple hours first weekend I had it. Beyond that it basically collected dust in corner until sold on Craigslist.
